Hardcover. Status: Very Skillful. Grit Jacket Included. First Edition, First Press. Hard Embrace. First Edition, First Printing. Published under direction of the Book-of-the-Month Society, Inc. Size x" X 13". Portfolio's 1-12 copyright 1958, Portfolios A-H copyright 1959 and Portfolios I-L Copyright 1960. All portfolios have original onion skin jacket in poor to good condition (many repaired for volume protection only and not presentation). Quality of books ranges from Very Adept to Fine where flaws are identified below. All paste downwards pictures on front of each front board are in fine status. Since the jackets are present the boards are a consequent grey colored paper. Each portfolio has all 12 Loose Colored Plates in the front pocket envelope. Each portfolio has a set of "Review Questions" laid in along with a brochure, "Subject of the Next Portfolio" (except the last portfolio "L"). Portfolio one has the "Pronunciation Guide for Series One of the Metropolitan Seminars in Art" and a "Dear Subscriber" alphabetic character from Meredith Wood, President BOMC. Portfolio's A-L each accept a divide "Pronunciation Guide" laid in. Book 50 has a "Dear Subscriber" alphabetic character from Harry Scherman, Chariman of the Lath, BOMC, Inc. laid in. The individual portfolio titles are as follows: (1) What is a Painting?
